Course Objective

To provide each apprentice with an opportunity to have a complete learning experience. Faculty will work one-on-one with trainees throughout the course, providing a total overview an continuous assessment. Candidates will be given mice oocytes for hands-On ICSI practice Targeted at the beginner, Fresher as well as experienced embryologist, the course aims to refresh his or her skills further in the field of ART.

• Introduction to lab procedures, equipment and apparatus, consumables, handling of pipettes.
• Aliquoting, aseptic technique, drawn-out pipettes.
• Cryopreservation of Embryos.
• Cryopreservation of Oocytes.
• Cryopreservation of Sperms.
• Thawing of embryo, Oocytes & Sperms.
• Tips for optimizing cryo survival rate.
• Quality control and maintenance, record-keeping.

Eligibility

• Medical graduate or Post-graduates, in an appropriate area of life sciences.
• Applicant with a B Sc (Bachelor of Science) or BV Sc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) degree, BHMS, MSc Graduates will be acceptable for training.
