Intensive ICSI Short Term Course

Duration: 12 Hours online lectures + 7 days hands on lab training

Course Objective

• To provide each apprentice with an opportunity to have a complete learning experience.
• This course aims at providing complete knowledge in ICSI techniques.
• Faculty will work one-on-one with trainees throughout the course providing a total overview and continuous assessment.
• Candidates will be given mice oocytes for hands-on ICSI practice frozen thawed sperm for immobilization.

Methodology of training

• Alignment of holding and injection needles.
• Immobilization of sperm.
• Troubleshooting Micromanipulator
• Hands-on practice in Narshege manipulator.
• Video Demonstration on RI and Eppendorf Manipulators.

Eligibility

• Medical graduate or Post-graduates, in an appropriate area of life sciences.
• Applicant with a B Sc (Bachelor of Science) or BV Sc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) degree, BHMS, MSc Graduates will be acceptable for training.
