Course Objective

• To provide each apprentice with an opportunity to have a complete learning experience.
• This course aims at providing complete knowledge in Andrology and Embryology techniques.
• Faculty will work one-on-one with trainees throughout the course providing a total overview and continuous assessment.
• Candidates will be given mice oocytes for hands-On ICSI practice and frozen semen for Andrology practice.
• Targeted at the beginner, Fresher as well as experienced embryologist, the course aims to refresh his or her skills further inthe field of Assisted Reproductive Technology(ART).

• Sperm preparation techniques for Intrauterine insemination (IUI), In vitro fertilisation (IVF) and Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)
• Advanced semen Assessment Techniques (DFI, MFA, MACS, PICSI)
• Trouble shooting methods to improve IUI success rates
• Oocyte Handling, Grading of oocytes and insemination
• ICSI: Alignment of injection needles and immobilization of sperm other micromanipulation techniques
• Embryo selection, embryo transfer techniques, Cryopreservation of Embryos micromanipulation

Eligibility

• Medical graduate or Post-graduates, in an appropriate area of life sciences.
• Applicant with a B Sc (Bachelor of Science) or BV Sc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) degree, BHMS, MSc Graduates will be acceptable for training.
